The Giants' Grave

are megalithic gallery graves that were used as public tombs during the Bronze Age. The tombs are made of a central stele, a stone or wooden slab, which has a hole cut into it that functions as the entrance. Walls extend from the door and form an interior corridor grave. Originally, the interior would have been covered. So far, 321 such monuments have been discovered in Sardinia, including the one at Coddu Vecchiu, in Arzachena Area.

Nuraghe La Prijona

In Arzachena, a few kilometers away from the hotel, it is possible to visit one of the main Nuragic sites of Sardinia. Discover the traditional stone buildings of the Nuragic Civilization dating back to 1800 BC. About 7,000 nuraghe, some of them really complex, scattered across the surface of Sardinia since 1997 have been recognized as a World Heritage by Unesco.

Fungo di Arzachena

According to history in prehistoric times the first local people sought refuge under it, in Roman times the area was called Turubulus Maior (large mushroom). Ages of rain and wind were able to model this rock shapeing it like a mushroom until it becomes the symbol of Arzachena.

Gola di Su Gorroppu

One of Sardinia's historical places. Legend has it that there is a strip of magical land where people that walk over it will have long life. Nobody knows where this mysterious piece of land is, the Ogliastra region offers one of the deepest canyons in Europe, though.
