Cervo Hotel

Hotel Design

Conceived as an integral part of the village

Completed in 1964, later enlarged and further renovated throughout the year, Cervo Hotel has been conceived by its creator architect Luigi Vietti, as an integral part of the village. The hotel develops around a Moorish-inspired patio and a serene pool, connected by a bower covered in fragrant vines.

The architecture takes several shades of red, pink, yellow and orange. Vietti himself says that when he designed the Cervo Hotel, wanted to communicate a subtle presence nestled in the landscape to all travelers coming by the sea. In the early years of Costa Smeralda the most common way to reach the destination was by sea with private boats. He chose to create sinuous shapes and decorate with warm colors, that stand out among the blue of the sea and sky.
